This site is a tribute to Marilyn, who was born in Edinburgh on August 28, 1957.

Marilyn was born to Andrew and Catherine and was the youngest of 3 children. From her first marriage, she had 2 children Thomas and Andrea.

Marilyn had many great attributes - she was kind and generous and will be remembered for her great sense of humour.  She was hard-working and proud to do so all her life, in later years she supported vulnerable adults - a job she loved and enjoyed.

Marilyn loved music and always had the radio on and loved having family and friends round for parties and going to concerts.

Marilyn loved her family and friends as was very protective of them, many of whom she remained close to throughout her life - working with, going on holiday with and just having round for a catch-up.

Later in life, Marilyn married Alan and spent over 20 happy years together.

Marilyn retired at the age of 66 and after a period of ill-health, passed away peacefully at St Columba's Hospice on July 14 2024.
